Admission requirements for Undergraduate Programs (BSc/BBA/BA)
The European School of Economics selects its freshman class using a variety of measures. We undertake a comprehensive review of your academic performance as well as your personal achievements.
Your academic performance is measured primarily by:
• The number of college preparatory, Advance Placement (AP), international Baccalaureate Higher Level (IBHL), honours, and transferable college courses you have completed and the level of achievement in those courses
• SAT, ACT, A Level, Abitur scores or equivalent.
• High School Graduation Diploma and the 12th-grade Grade Point Average • An honour or award reflecting intellectual or creative achievement
• For international applicants only: Non-native English speakers should have a decent command of English: IELTS 6.5 or a TOEFL score of 550 paper based or 213 computer based or 80 iBT.
To evaluate personal achievements, we take into consideration:
• Personal background and experience
• Your potential contribution to the intellectual and cultural vitality of our centres
• Demonstrated interest in other cultures and enthusiasm for additional international experience
• Non-academic achievements in arts, sports, or other areas
Interviews are not required for admission, but we encourage additional insights that interviews provide.
Application Checklist
• Completed Application form
• An original, personal essay (part of your application)
• Official SAT or ACT scores or equivalent
• Copy of high school diploma or high school transcripts (with official translation in English)
• One sealed letter of recommendation
• For international applicants: official TOEFL, Cambridge, or IELTS Score report
• Two pictures
• Photo ID
* Candidates who have completed their studies in the English language are not required to submit this test.
Admission requirements for Master of Science Program (MSc)
The European School of Economics selects its Masters students through an assessment that includes a comprehensive review of academic performance and personal achievements.
Academic performance is measured primarily by:
• The Graduate Admission Application and the personal essay
• Copies of all the degrees/certificates and transcripts listed in your application form.
• Two sealed letters of recommendation.
• An honour or award reflecting your intellectual or creative achievements
• Language Proficiency. Non-native English speakers should have a decent command of English: IELTS 7.0 or a TOEFL score of 233 (computer based) or 90 (iBT) or 577 (Paper based).
To evaluate personal achievements, we take into consideration:
* Personal background and experience
* The likely contribution to the intellectual and cultural vitality of the campus * Demonstrated interest in other cultures and enthusiasm for additional international experience
* Non-academic achievements in arts, sports, or other areas
Interviews are not required for admission, but we encourage additional insights that interviews provide.

Admission requirements for Master in Business Administration (MBA)
The European School of Economics selects its MBA class through an assessment that includes a comprehensive review of academic performance and personal achievements.
Academic performance is measured primarily by:
• The Graduate Admission Application
• Copies of all the degrees/certificates and high school transcripts (with the official translation in English).
• GMAT scores (strongly suggested)
• Two sealed letters of recommendation.
• Work experience (at least 2 years)
• An honour or award reflecting your intellectual or creative achievements
• Language Proficiency. Non-native speakers should have a good level of English: IELTS 7.0 or a TOEFL score of 233 (Computer based), or 577 (Paper based) or 90 (iBT).
To evaluate personal achievements, we take into consideration:
• Personal background and experience
• The likely contribution to the intellectual and cultural vitality of the campus • Demonstrated interest in other cultures and enthusiasm for additional international experience
• Non-academic achievements in arts, sports, or other areas

• The content of the certificate Admission Application form with a personal essay.
• Copies of all the degrees/certificates and high school transcripts listed in your application form.
• Language Proficiency. Non-native English speakers should have a decent command of English.
• Curriculum vitae in English.
To evaluate personal achievements, we take into consideration:
• Personal background and experience
• The likely contribution to the intellectual and cultural vitality of the campus • Demonstrated interest in other cultures and enthusiasm for additional international experience
• Non-academic achievements in arts, sports, or other areas

When sending your documents, make sure you submit:

4. For international applicants: official TOEFL, Cambridge or IELTS Score report or personal/phone interview, testing the level of your English comprehension.
