The Certificate Program in Finance* is a sequence of courses giving students a strong foundation in up-to-the-minute finance and practical skills.
MC0021 International Strategic Management
This module provides an introduction to the theoretical and practical aspects of international strategic management. Our aim is to familiarize students with the paradox of globalisation and localisation perspectives commonly found in European countries. The general aim is to develop student awareness of the varied elements that shape businesses. The module provides a global business perspective while emphasising the importance of remaining connected at the local level as well.
M0014 International Strategic Marketing
This module focuses on developing both a theoretical and an applied understanding of international marketing and creating awareness of the global issues facing international and global organisations. The module also aims to enable students to acquire knowledge in developing marketing strategies for countries other than their own. That’s because successful marketers have deep understandings of both the domestic and international marketplaces.
MC0018 International Project Management
One of the most quickly changing fields is Project Management, so much that companies are increasingly hiring their own project managers to keep capital expenditures under control. Any manager, in fact, needs the skills that the top project managers utilize: controlling schedules, resourcing, budgeting, and risk management.
MC0023 MultiNational Corporate Finance
Where does the buck stop? Wherever a corporation’s financial controller says it does. That’s because these executives have the responsibility of managing their companies’ finances. The global economy is a turbulent one, which is why this module focuses on the global financial environment within which multinationals operate. Students will also learn the risks involved in operating within a global environment and the many pitfalls involved with operating on the world stage.
MC0030 Internship
Companies associated with ESE offer internships that allow students to take their project management expertise into the real world. That way students can get valuable, on-the-spot work experience in their industries of choice to supplement their academic achievements. Students will be able to take the knowledge they glean from their course modules and apply it in the professional world.
