The International Marketing Management Program involves giving students the kind of global perspective that they won’t learn anywhere else. Besides simply teaching the time-tested techniques of international marketing, the program immerses students in a sophisticated group of modules that will help them become marketing entrepreneurs and global leaders of tomorrow.
The Marketing Certificate Program* teaches students the intricacies of marketing management in a diverse, competitive, global setting.
MC0021 International Strategic Management
This module provides an introduction to the theoretical and practical aspects of international strategic management. Our aim is to familiarize students with the paradox of globalisation and localisation perspectives commonly found in European countries. The general aim is to develop student awareness of the varied elements that shape businesses. The module provides a global business perspective while emphasising the importance of remaining connected at the local level as well.
M0014 International Strategic Marketing
This module focuses on developing both a theoretical and an applied understanding of international marketing and creating awareness of the global issues facing international and global organisations. The module also aims to enable students to acquire knowledge in developing marketing strategies for countries other than their own. That’s because successful marketers have deep understandings of both the domestic and international marketplaces.
MC009 Innovation and Development
Innovate or die. That’s the kind of thinking that keeps companies on their toes in today’s cutthroat environment. We’ll study the fundamental differences between a new product or service and what becomes the actual product or service after the launch. New product development is another focus, as well as the time-honored theories surrounding open innovation, disruptive innovation, creativity, lead users, and fuzzy front-end analysis.
M0010 E-Business and E-Commerce
It’s one thing to set up shop in a building. It’s quite another to set up a business in a virtual, electronic setting. This module aims to teach the valuable contributions e-commerce can make to any company as well as how cutting-edge technology can be used to give your business a competitive edge. Not surprisingly, traditional business techniques are outmoded when it comes to operating on the Internet. We’ll show you how to respond to the latest challenges in the virtual marketplace and use this format to grow any business entity.
MC0030 Internship
Companies associated with ESE offer internships that allow students to take their project management expertise into the real world. That way students can get valuable, on-the-spot work experience in their industries of choice to supplement their academic achievements. Students will be able to take the knowledge they glean from their course modules and apply it in the professional world.
